Containing the Armes, Matches and Issues of the Kings, Dukes, Marquesses and Earles of England from the Conquest…, First edition, extra engraved title-page with portrait of the author dated 1641, signature of Thomas Rochester dated 1727 to title page, title also signed and dated 1809 by Ralph Spearman of Eachwick Hall, Northumberland, further inscribed to rear free endpaper, manuscript annotations throughout in an his hand?, Dd1 duplicated with ms additions to complete arms, front free endpaper inscribed in pencil ‘the mss notes are by Peter Le Neve, text block trimmed with occasional loss of text or annotations to lower and foredge, Aaa1 with large tear, Ddd4 with loss to upper corner, some further short tears, staining and soiling, 2 modern bookplates to front pastedown, contemporary half calf over marbled boards, vellum corners, some loss to spine extremities, later endpapers, [STC 26103], Printed by Edward Griffin, 1640
