An early 20th century Chinese export silver box, probably Hong Kong circa 1930 retailed by Po Cheng

Of rectangular form with a hinged lid, all upon four stepped feet. The lid with an embossed Chinese dragon with a vacant shield shape cartouche, the sides with two Chinese dragons. Gilt interior. Marked underneath with numeral 90 and retailer’s mark PC.

Length – 9.5 cm / 3.75 inches

Weight – 90 grams / 2.89 ozt
