ARCHIVE OF GLASS PLATE STEREO-VIEWS, c.1900. Glass plate slide stereo-views (301) depicting interior and landscape views of Vietnam around the turn of the century, each approx. 60 x 130mm, housed in 27 cardboard slide boxes with distribution labels from Lumière (17), Grieshaber (9), and one blank, many with 'Emulsion Speciale pour Pays Chauds' labels, each box measuring approx. 70 x 140mm with protective paper inserts between slides, all stored within a large wooden box. Majority in good condition, approx. 25 with partial loss of emulsion, and less than 10 in which images have been obscured by loss.
