ALBUM OF THE MEDITERRANEAN VOYAGE OF H.M.S. INDOMITABLE, 1914-1916.

Album of 160 albumen prints of the Mediterranean from H.M.S. Indomitable, each approx. 114 x 150mm (or the reverse), housed in an oblong 4to measuring 294 x 399mm, black cloth gilt, green foliate endpapers. Each print window mounted in card mounts, recto and verso, many captioned and numbered, featuring photographs of the crew members, and views of Italy, Greece, and Lebanon, among other locations. Accompanied by loose photograph of two sailors in a collage paper frame with roundels of King George VI, Admiral Jellicoe and General French, reading 'Faithful to the Empire'.
