A MEISSEN PORCELAIN FIGURE GROUP EMBLEMATIC OF SPRING, circa 1880, after the model by J.C. Schönheit as a young boy and girl, he standing peering at a bird in a nest upon a bird cage resting upon a tree stump, she seated beside him holding a garland of flowers, a basket of flowers by her feet, raised on an oval mound base moulded with a stiff leaf border, 14cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, incised model no.
