A MEISSEN PORCELAIN MONKEY BAND FIGURE OF A FLAUTIST AND A MUSIC STAND, late 19th Century, after the original model by Peter Reinicke, the monkey modelled standing wearing a powdered wig, purple overcoat, patterned waistcoat and orange breeches, plating a flute, on a scroll-moulded base heightened in gold, 14cm high; the music stand after the original by J. J. Kaendler, modelled as an open book of sheet music supported on a rococo scroll pedestal with gilt detailing, 9cm high, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, impressed numerals (2)
