A LARGE AND RARE PAIR OF JUDAIC PORCELAIN SEDER PLATES, 19th Century, probably German, each painted to the centre with the Star of David in blue and white, respectively decorated in gilding with a Menorah and the Tablets of the Law flanked by two lions rampant, within elaborate gilt scroll borders, the rims with six stars containing Hebrew letters in black script, all reserved on a buff ground, 37cm diameter (2) FOOTNOTES: Sold by Christie's, 8 May 1978, lot 75.
