Album of photochroms (57) of Egypt, c.1890s, depicting views of ancient Egyptian monuments, modern architecture, the Suez Canal, and general views of Alexandria, Cairo, and the Nile, each measuring 267 x 210mm (or the reverse), mounted on card (most recto and verso, so recto only), with gold-printed credit and caption on each. Housed in a 4to album measuring 304 x 241mm, half morocco over purple boards, spines gilt in compartments, with marbled endpapers.
