A MEISSEN BEAKER, circa 1725-30, painted with two chinoiserie scenes depicting figures at various pursuits, within quatrelobe gilt scrollwork cartouches filled with Böttger lustre and embellished with iron-red and brown scrollwork, the rim with a gilt scroll- and strapwork border, 7.5cm high, crossed swords mark in blue enamel, gold numeral 1., impressed Dreher's mark .. for Johann Martin Kittel PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
