SEVEN FRENCH CREAMWARE PLATES BY CREIL & MONTEREAU, early 19th Century, each variously transfer-printed in black with titled landscape views incorporating figures and animals, comprising a set of four with landscape vignettes to the rims, including 'l'Ecolier le Pedant et le Maitre d'un Jardin', 'Le Loup Plaidant Contre le Renard par Devant le Singe', 'Le Renard, le Loup et le Chrval', and 'La Foret et le Bucheron', together with a set of three with foliate borders, including 'Le Savetier et le Financier', 'La Laitiere et Pot au Lait', and 'Le Maitre d'Ecole et l'Enfant', 21.5-22cm diameter, impressed 'MONTEREAU', three with printed 'Moreau & Comp.' marks in black (7)
