A late 19^th / early 20^th century Anglo – Indian silver bowl, Madras circa 1900 by Peter Orr and Sons

Raj period. of rounded circular form with a central band of embossed decoration of the twelve zodiac signs all within rectangular vignettes with canted corners, all against textured grounds, reserved with chased foliate scrolls, both between beaded bands. The rim edge engraved Eilleen Dorothy. Marked underneath P. Orr & SONS MADRAS.
