A MAMLUK-REVIVAL BRASS BOWL AND CANDLESTICK Egypt, late 19th - early 20th Century  Comprising a silver-inlaid brass bowl, of rounded shape, on flat base, the body decorated with a band of dense knotwork with thuluth calligraphic cartouches and split palmette medallions, 15cm diam.; and a silver-inlaid brass candlestick resting on six feet, the shaft screwed into the base, the body with similar decoration to the bowl, 23.5cm high.
