A late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver mug, Cutch circa 1890
Raj period. Of baluster form upon a domed spreading circular foot, with a moulded rim, a chased and acanthus capped double C scroll handle. The body with chased decoration of foliate scrolls and rosettes, populated with a hunting figure with guns and gazelle, a boar, and a lion. All below a band of rosettes, and an acanthus leaf border in base.
