A collection of silver gelatin prints (160) of the Belgian Congo, c.1940, taken by photographers working with the Congo Belge Service de l'Information.

Includes architectural views, scenes of school interiors, factory interiors, local portraits. All loose silver gelatin prints, smaller approx. 98mm x 120mm and larger approx. 120mm x 170mm. Most stamped with 'Service de l'information et de la Propogande du Congo Belge' and the photographer's name on verso, along with typewritten or handwritten captions on verso.
