A MEISSEN ORNITHOLOGICAL TEAPOT AND A COVER, circa 1750, of bullet form with a tau handle and animal spout picked out in gold, both sides painted with a bird perched on a branch, one pecking at a fruit, surrounded by scattered insects, the associated cover decorated with figures seated in landscapes, with a flower finial, 8.8cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue (2) PROVENANCE: Private German collection.
