All attributed to Wheeler & Sons, Christchurch; views include Pembroke Glacier, Port Chalmers, Queenstown, Dunedin, Timaru, Mt Cook, Mont De La Beche, Lyttleton, Sumner, Broken River, Otira Gorge, The Buller River Crossing, Wellington, Napier, a Maori Runanga, Mount Tarawera, Whkarewarewa, Rotorua, Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Auckland, with signed dedication page to Alfred William Bately opposite a silver print of a group of gentlemen pasted down to front endpaper.
