A William IV silver novelty snuff box, Birmingham circa 1830 mark of George Tye (reg. Feb 1830) probably by Nathaniel Mills

Chased decoration to resemble fur, the hinged lid engraved with initials OWG to JWG in flourished cursive script. Gilt interior. Marked to the lid and bezel with G.T and two pseudo marks.

Length – 7.8 cm / 3 inches

Weight – 55 grams / 1.77 ozt
