A late 19th / early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver christening mug, Lucknow circa 1900
Raj period. Of octolobed cylindrical section form with a cobra serpent handle, the body with chased decoration of alternating panels of jungle pattern and demon pattern. The underside chased with a foliate motif. Together with another Lucknow christening mug, with chased decoration in village pattern. (2)
