A pair of early 19th century Indian Colonial silver condiments peppers, Calcutta 1821-23 by Twentyman, Beck and Co (active 1821-23)
Each of vase form upon a circular pedestal base, each with a pull off domed and cavetto lid with reeded edges and drill pierced holes. Gilt interior to one. One marginally taller than the other. Each marked underneath with TB&Co, lion rampant, lion passant, and tally mark. (2)

Partnership formed between William Henry Twentyman and Weldon Wheatley Beck on the 1st January 1821 and dissolved 31st December 1823.
