An early 20th century Chinese export silver bowl, Shanghai circa 1920, marked Zhu Chang, retailed by Zee Wo
Republic period. Of rounded circular form with a scalloped moulded rim, raised upon a spreading circular foot, screw fitted. The body with cast and applied decoration of eight carp reserved with flat chased water vegetation. Marked underneath with an artisan mark 秼昌(ZHU CHANG) and retailer’s mark ZEEWO and 畤和 (SHI HE, Zee Wo).
