AN UNDERWOOD & UNDERWOOD HAND-HELD STEREOSCOPE, 1881, COMPLETED WITH A SELECTION OF STEREOCARDS, subjects include the 1962 International Exhibition and the full moon, China, Japan, Egypt and Damascus, various animals, some portraits, two drawings, c.1860s–1880s, a geometric pattern, photographers and publishers include the London Stereoscope and Photographic Company (1854–1922), Underwood & Underwood, Pestalozzi Educational View Co. Stereocards (36) albumen prints, image size approx. 80 x 75mm, 70 x 70mm, card size approx.177 x 87mm, 165 x 81mm, one example with hand written title and date and in ink verso, some examples titled and numbered with publisher's name typed on card, 2 examples signed and numbered on image lower margin recto, some with descriptions typed verso, examples with typed label affixed recto, others with typed label affixed verso, one hand coloured, one with copyright stamp verso, some hand coloured examples.
