Possibly Ottoman Provinces or Post-Nasrid Spain, mid to late 19th century
Of rectangular shape, resting on four rounded feet supporting ringed tubular legs, the table top and foot rest plank intricately carved and inlaid with mother-of-pearl tesserae and coloured wood vegetal and stellar motifs, the sides with a continuous band of diamond-shaped lattice work, the decoration a balanced marriage between Western marquetry techniques, and Middle Eastern influences and aesthetics, 72.5cm x 38cm x 63cm.
