A 20th century rendition of a pesh kabz type dagger, perhaps originating in Afghanistan, Pakistan or India. Robust blade of 22cm with reinforced armour-piercing point, the blade inlaid with brass foliage and birds. The grip of bone (probably camel), with horn butt-cap. Scabbard of traditional Afghan pesh kabz style, of wood and leather with brass fittings. Overall length in scabbard 40cm.
