Notes:
Walterhausen was the name given to a type of dolls house furniture produced in factories in a small town in Thuringia . The white 'Boulle' pattern furniture found in this dolls house was produced in 1898 according to the Scneegass catalogue held at the museum in Tenneberg. There were apparantly twenty four patterns for 'Boulle' chairs printed at one time on white or dark painted sheets of wood which were then cut and glued together for serial mass production. There are only a few examples still in existence, most remaining in private collections across the world.
