AN ANTIQUE EREVAN RUG, SOUTH CAUCASUS, approx: 201cm. x 138cm. Great overall design with various multicoloured hooked and serrated motifs together with small rosettes. Good colour combination, bold appearance. Fine and soft wool quality. This rug has slight localized wear to the top pile, down to knot collar in places. Selvages original with touches of wool loss on cord in small places. Ends with fringes, secured. In general this rug is in good usable condition. Very attractive piece. Woven on wool foundation.
