Arabic manuscripts on paper, comprising praise to the Prophet, 7ll. to the folio reserved against gold cloudbands, set within blue and pink outer borders, on a pale yellow card, mounted, framed and glazed, the text panel 15.5cm x 11cm, 40.3cm x 28.8cm including the frame; a quote from the Shi'a Imam Ali, 8ll. to the folio grouped within gold cloudbands, in pink and blue outer borders, mounted, framed and glazed, 16cm x 11.4cm, 40.4cm x 29cm including the frame; two folios from a Qur’an, Sura al-Baqara (2), ayas 61-63 and 63-68, 10ll. to each folio, the text clustered in residual gold cloudbands, set within black and gold rules, and green and orange borders, mounted, framed and glazed, 12cm x 6.5cm, 40.4cm x 29cm including the frames; and lastly, two folios from a du'a-ye Kumayl, 8ll. to each folio, with interlinear Persian translations in red nasta’liq script, set within white and gold rules, and dark blue and pink outer borders, laid on buff paper, mounted, framed and glazed, 13.5cm x 6.5cm, 40.3cm x 29cm including the frame.
