Crosby (Bing) & Bob Hope
Vintage head and shoulders sepia toned photograph of Bing Crosby, signed and inscribed "To Bill (Reward?), Most sincerely Bing Crosby" in ink on the left-hand side of the image, some wear to verso, 10x 8"; with a typed letter signed by Crosby to a Mr Surrey, reading "My latest release is 'Emperor Waltz', with Joan Fontaine. There are some good songs, especially 'Friendly Mountains'. It's vacation time, and I'm off to my ranch in Nevada, and to Canada for a little hunting and fishing", one page, folding marks, 4to, Hollywood, 17 June 1948; with a black and white studio photograph of Bob Hope, signed and inscribed "To Frank, My best, Bob Hope" along lower white margin, also annotated 'Road to Hong Kong' next to signature, minor handling wear to margins, 10 x 8", and a typed letter featuring printed signature of Hope, 1983 (4)
