A LARGE AND EARLY WEDGEWOOD CREAMWARE JUG WITH VIEWS OF ATHENS England, mid-19th century  Of pear-like shape, on tall rounded foot, with curved handle to the side and an elongated spout, decorated with two black transfer prints on cream ground, both prints with Romantic landscapes of views of Athens, Hadrian's Gate, the ancient market , Greek ruins and small figures surrounded by nature, the base of the foot with manufacturer's mark 'WEDGWOOD', 23cm high.
