A LATE 19TH CENTURY DUTCH SILVER BOX, IMPORT MARKS FOR SHEFFIELD 1893 BY SAMUEL BOYCE LANDECK
Of rectangular form with hinged lid, embossed decoration of Venus and Apollo, with cherubs, the underside with peasants in 18th century dress. Together with two similar smaller boxes, each similarly decorated and with gilt interiors, one Kesselstadt by Karl Kurz, import marks for London 1904 by Theodor Hartmann, the other Hanau by Neresheimer, import marks for Chester 1907 by Boaz Moses Landeck.
