A late 19th / early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver tea caddy, Lucknow circa 1900
Raj period, of poly-lobed circular form upon three fish feet. The hinged lid surmounted by a chased finial of a caparisoned elephant. The body with deep chased decoration of alternating panels of different patterns; bamboo, cutch style, jungle, two with yogi (holy men).
