An early 19th century French provincial gold and turquoise set vinaigrette, Reims 1819 -1838, no maker mark

Of oval bombe form, with a central fluted band, the hinged lid with finely chased decoration of flower heads and leaves encircling nine inset cabochon cut turquoise. The interior with a hinged finely pierced grill of an urn within foliate scrolls. Marked to bade flange.

Length – 3.5 cm / 1.5 inches
