A FINE BAKHTIARI RUG, WEST PERSIA, approx; 190cm. x 140cm. Rather unusual design for this type more associated with Sarouk weaving. Very good colour combination. This rug has full pile, very soft and lustrous wool quality. Selvaged original with touches of wool loss on cords. Ends with short fringes, touches of light fraying. In general thi rug is in very good usable condition. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
