A TIBETAN PORTABLE FOLDING WOOD TABLE.
Tibet, 19th Century.
With a rectangular top above a reticulated band of key fret and blossoms raised on three folding flaps, the front carved and pierced with two panels of confronting dragons, the sides with cranes, each above a scrolling apron, all painted with red and black lacquer and gilt, 22 x 50 x 25cm.
Provenance: a property of a Lady of Title acquired in 1980s and 1990s, Spink by repute.
