A FINE KASHAN CARPET, CENTRAL PERSIA, approx: 385cm. x 265cm. Very good type, seldom found in sales. Colours are very well balanced with soft rust-red field. Design is very nicely drawn. Apart of light wear to the pile on the edge on one side in few small places, barely noticeable. This carpet has full pile, very soft and lustrous wool quality. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, secured. Fine weave, approx: 6 x 6 knots per sq. cm. In general this carpet is in very good condition. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
