The exterior painted in iron-red with the bajixiang alternating with lotus blooms on a continuous meandering scroll, the interior painted in underglaze-blue decorated with san yang in a medallion enclosing three rams, encircled on the well by four fruiting and flowering branches suspending auspicious emblems such as a ruyi sceptre, a chime, a double-gourd and a fish, the base inscribed in underglaze-blue with a six-character Daoguang seal mark,
