1 bottle of Compass Box The Spice Tree (Banned edition)

The Spice Tree was launched in 2005, but a year later Compass Box were ordered to stop production by the Scotch Whisky Association. The original Spice Tree was aged using 195 year old French oak staves which were inserted into the whisky barrels. The SWA dictated that this method was not appropriate for the production of Scotch Whisky so compass box discontinued production. Several years later they began a new production method to release a new legal version. This is a rare bottling of the original banned version.
