An early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver small bowl, Lucknow circa 1920
Raj period. Of compressed circular form with convex sides. The body with embossed decoration in hunting pattern. Depicting a caparisoned elephant holding a tiger up in its trunk being speared by the rider, also a lion being slain by two hunters. The underside with a chased circle motif of an elephant.
