From Saatchi Gallery, Loan of Art, pp.174 – “Absorbed in their own methods of making time – playing cat’s cradle, making a cup of tea – they appear not to notice the camera, which captures a split-second of the time they are trying to kill. Kearney informs us, through the title, that they are all thinking about the same thing, but gives clues as to what that might be”.
