A SMALL COLLECTION OF CHINESE LACQUER ITEMS, QING DYNASTY AND LATER, comprising a cinnabar lacquer box carved to the cover with a figure on a bridge in a watery landscape, a rectangular black lacquer jewellery box painted with apsaras, a cinnabar lacquer ‘dragon’ brushpot incised with four dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst cloud scrolls and waves, and a bamboo brushpot with a cylindrical body with figures and animals near pavilions and trees in shallow relief, 15.5cm long.
