Sabean-Mandean community in Omara, Iraq, circa 1940 - 1950

Comprising a salt shaker, with a rounded base resting on three pointy feet and surmounted by a hexagonal tower-like lid, 7.2cm high; and two sauce cups, each with a rounded base resting on three pointy feet, one lidded and with a small serving spoon, each side featuring typical Iraqi nielloed decoration including river vessels, desert vegetation and animals, and renowned architectural landmarks like Ezra's Tomb, all unmarked, each 3.5cm diam. and 2.5cm high.
