ROMAN FORUM, VIEW TO THE CAPITOL c.1849, albumen print from a wet collodion glass negative, image size, 420 x 270mm, dated in the negative, and pasted to original paper support with pencil annotations in lower margin, Very similar in aspect to a view taken by James Anderson (1813-1877) between 1850-1852 however some notable differences.
