An early 20th century Chinese export silver tea caddy, Shanghai circa 1920, retailed by Hung Chong
Republic period. Of globular form upon three ball feet, a pull off cylindrical everted domed lid. The body with embossed decoration of chrysanthemums, the lid with a cast and applied chrysanthemum. Marked underneath with retailer’s mark HC only.
