A George III sterling silver gilt salt, London 1818 by Robert Garrard II (reg. 16th April 1818)
Of compressed circular ‘cauldron’ salts, with shell feet and shell knees. Shaped gadrooned rim. Engraved to side with a crest of upon a mount an eagle displayed. Fully marked underneath.
