A late 19th century Chinese export silver rose water sprinkler, Canton circa 1890, retailed by Wang Hing
Qing dynasty, Of compressed baluster form upon a screw footed cylindrical foot, the screw thread fitted tall neck section with disc knop, and terminating in a flower head terminal. The body with chased decoration of foliage against a textured ground, repeated to the foot. The neck section with chased stylised leaves. Marked to foot with retailer’s mark WH, numeral 90, and a possibly incuse artisan mark (obscured).
