A LARGE JAPANESE KUTANI DOUBLE-GOURD VASE

The tall body formed in two sections, lavishly decorated in enamels and gilt with panels of musicians, birds and flowers and variously shaped fans on a ground of brocade patterns and stylised floral scrolls, a six-character Yamanobu mark to the base,

Provenance: a private Yorkshire collection since the 1930s and thence by descent to the present owner.
