Each panel of narrow rectangular shape, the front gilt, painted and lacquered, the repeating decoration on each panel featuring a lobed niche with cusped arch at the top filled with birds perched on vegetal stems amidst floral blooms against blue ground, the negative space in the squinches filled with similar vegetal motifs and stylised cloudbands against gold background, 271.5cm x 185cm x 3.5cm.
