Each of rectangular form, the first with a single length of cotton printed in red, indigo, and blue, the field of madder red with alternating rows of small buti with indigo dots on reserved white, each corner with an elegant diagonal buti, the horizontal borders with large scale elaborate buti in-filled with radiating smaller ones, the outer borders with a smaller scale sinuous floral frieze, the end centres stamped in red with the workshop signature in Persian naskh script with the words Ghalam Kar Sad Ras A’la, Haji Agha Mohammad Hossein Ahmad, with a twisted red fringe, 235cm x 134cm; and another similar, with a white ground, with small birds located in the borders, the incomplete signature cartouche in black revealing the name Ahmad Haji, 242cm x 136cm.
