An early Victorian sampler worked in coloured silks with cross-stitch with an extract passage from a Catholic prayer, surrounded by various birds, animals and architectural motifs within a flowering tendril border, by Margaret Morder, 1843, together with a George IV verse and alphabet and number sampler dated December 1826 and three others, (5)
