The basin of deep rounded shape with a crenelated rim, resting on a cylindrical stem with a compressed ring in the middle supported by a tall splayed foot, the hammered decoration in relief on the exterior consisting of a repeating vegetal grid with thick foliage and stylised flowers, several fretwork bands with wavy patterns around the foot and stem, the base stamped with Chinese and Thai artisan marks side by side, 20.5cm diam. and 13cm high, 443gr.
