***Although comprised mainly of travel books, the 20s series also includes such titles as: ‘World’s Children’ and ‘Egyptian Birds’. Taking advantage of a new three-color printing process, A & C Black released hundreds of color plate books between the years 1900 and 1930. Their series’ offered finely made books with large numbers of color plates to the general reading public.
